For your consideration is a scarce and very large china set produced by Furstenberg in the Brunswick factory, Germany. The golden stamp dates to 1850-1894. The berrybowls bear the red Pickard stamp, and I would guess they were a special order to thePickard factory to match this set. The sugar bowl was made in Austria and not originalto the set. All other 125 pieces match. The serving pieces are magnificent and verylarge including the coffee pot. The soup bowls are very generous and could be usedfor main dishes also. Please note the huge rounded out serving bowl which could beused with the soup bowls. This set is in very good to excellent condition. I noted nochips or cracks. There is slight wear to the gilt.
